Rural Animal Technician | Technician

Aleisha joined Selwyn Rakaia Vets in August 2021 as a casual worker for debudding and quickly discovered her passion for the job. She transitioned to a full-time position in February 2022. While working full time, Aleisha completed her studies and earned a New Zealand Certificate in Animal Technology (Level 5) Rural Animal Technician in 2024.

Having grown up on a lifestyle block in Darfield, Aleisha continues to call it home, recently purchasing her first house with her partner and their springer spaniel. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, particularly hunting and tramping, and loves spending time with friends. Aleisha is also proud of achieving the milestone of 100 Guinness at her local, the Darf Pub!
